Llyn Dinas is a lake near Beddgelert, Gwynedd in north Wales. It is formed by the River Glaslyn. Llyn Dinas lies on the valley floor a few miles north of Beddgelert at an altitude of about 55 metres above sea level.

Nantmor is a hamlet which lies about 1½ miles to the south of the village of Beddgelert in Gwynedd, Wales. The current spelling of the name Nantmor is more modern – most old documents from the 16th to the 18th century record the name as Nanmor. Nantmor is situated 3½ miles southwest of Plas Gwynant.

Croesor is a small village in Gwynedd, Wales, located at the foot of Cnicht, in Cwm Croesor, in the community of Llanfrothen. The Croesor Tramway travelled along the bed of the cwm, before rising steeply to Bwlch Rhosydd via Croesor Incline. Croesor is situated 3½ miles south of Plas Gwynant.

Rhyd-ddu is a small village in Snowdonia, North Wales which is a starting point for walks up Snowdon, Moel Hebog, Yr Aran and the Nantlle Ridge. It lies on the A4085 4 miles north of Beddgelert, at its junction with the B4418 to Nantlle and Penygroes. Rhyd Ddu railway station is one of the stops on the Welsh Highland Railway between Caernarfon and Porthmadog.
