The Wairakei Power Station is a geothermal power station near the Wairakei Geothermal Field in New Zealand. Wairakei lies in the Taupō Volcanic Zone. Wairakei Power Station is situated 130 metres southwest of Wairakei A power station.

The Huka Prawn Park is an aquaculture venture and tourist attraction located 10 minutes north of Taupō. It was started in 1987, and is currently New Zealand's only prawn farm. Huka Prawn Park is situated 510 metres southwest of Wairakei A power station.
