Laga is a hamlet on the north shore of Loch Sunart near Acharacle, in Lochaber, in the Highlands of Scotland and is in the council area of Highland.

Glenborrodale is a coastal community on Loch Sunart in the south of the Ardnamurchan peninsula in the Highland area of Scotland. It gives its name to a Royal Society for the Protection of Birds' reserve in the nearby oakwoods.

Acharacle is a village on the landward end of the Ardnamurchan peninsula in the Scottish Highlands, at the foot of Loch Shiel. The ford referred to in the name spans the River Shiel, and, according to legend, was the site of a battle between Somerled and a Norwegian warrior named Torquil.
