The Biblioteca Ambrosiana is a historic library in Milan, Italy, also housing the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, the Ambrosian art gallery. Named after Ambrose, the patron saint of Milan, it was founded in 1609 by Cardinal Federico Borromeo, whose agents scoured Western Europe and even Greece and Syria for books and manuscripts. Biblioteca Ambrosiana is situated 250 metres southeast of Piazza degli Affari.

Palazzo Mezzanotte, also known as Palazzo delle Borse is a 20th-century building of Milan, Italy, and the seat of the Italian stock exchange. It is located in Piazza Affari, the city square after which the Italian stock exchange itself is nicknamed.
