Loch Bad an Sgalaig is a small, irregular shaped, freshwater loch and reservoir lying 5 mi south of the village of Gairloch, in Wester Ross, Scotland. The north west end of the loch, where it outflows to the Eas na Laimh stream, was dammed in 1949 to power the Kerry Falls hydroelectric power station.

Victoria Falls is a waterfall on the southern side of Loch Maree in Wester Ross in the north-west of Scotland. It is on the Abhainn Garbhaig, a short river that flows from Loch Garbhaig to Loch Maree. Victoria Falls is situated 2½ miles east of The Red Stable.

Gairloch is a straggling community along the west coast of Ross and Cromarty in the Scottish Highlands, with a population of 620 in 2020. The land is hilly and farming isn't very productive, but shellfishing remains a traditional occupation.
