Skansen is the oldest open-air museum and zoo in Sweden located on the island Djurgården in Stockholm, Sweden. It was opened on 11 October 1891 by Artur Hazelius to show the way of life in the different parts of Sweden before the industrial era. Skansen is situated 2 km west of Djurgårdens Ridskola.

Rosendal Palace

Rosendal Palace is a Swedish palace pavilion located on Djurgården, an island in central Stockholm. It was built between 1823 and 1827 for King Charles XIV John, the first Bernadotte king of Sweden. Rosendal Palace is situated 1¼ km west of Djurgårdens Ridskola.

The Museum of Ethnography, in Stockholm, Sweden, is a Swedish science museum. It houses a collection of about 220,000 items relating to the ethnography, or cultural anthropology, of peoples from around the world, including from China, Korea, South and Southeast Asia, the Pacific region, the Americas and Africa. Museum of Ethnography is situated 1 km west of Djurgårdens Ridskola.

Lindarängen

Lindarängen is a location outside Stockholm, Sweden. During the 1912 Summer Olympics, it hosted the steeplechase trials for the equestrian eventing competition. Between 1921 and 1952 Lindarängen also hosted Stockholm's water airport for seaplanes.
