Chiang Mai Zoo and Aquarium is a 200-acre zoo on Huay Kaew Road in Chiang Mai Province, Thailand, just west of Chiang Mai University. It is the first commercial zoo in northern Thailand, established on 16 June 1977. Chiang Mai Zoo is situated 720 metres southwest of Ko Klang Ang Kaeo.

Wat Chet Yot or officially called Wat Photharam Maha Wihan is a Buddhist temple in Chiang Mai in northern Thailand. It is a centre of pilgrimage for those born in the year of the Snake. Wat Jed Yod is situated 2½ km east of Ko Klang Ang Kaeo.
