Little Cumbrae Castle sits on Castle Island or Allin Tuirail from the Scottish Gaelic: eilean tùr nan uaislean meaning "islet of the nobles' tower", a small tidal island situated off the east coast of Little Cumbrae, in the Firth of Clyde. Little Cumbrae Castle is situated 1,700 feet south of Broad Island.

Little Cumbrae is an island in the Firth of Clyde, in North Ayrshire, Scotland. It lies south of Great Cumbrae, its larger neighbour. The underlying geology is igneous with limited outcrops of sedimentary rock.

Great Cumbrae is an island in the Firth of Clyde off the coast of Ayrshire, with Millport as its only settlement, and a population of 1376 in 2011. The island is about 3 miles long by 1½ miles wide, roughly tooth-shaped, with a broad bay indenting its south coast.

Kilchattan Bay is a village on the Isle of Bute, Scotland. It lies on the island's southern end, along the coast road at the foot of a steep hill called the Suidhe Chattan which shields the village from the prevailing westerly wind. Kilchattan Bay is situated 3½ miles northwest of Broad Island.
West Kilbride
West Kilbride is a town in Ayrshire on the Clyde coast, with a population of 4860 in 2022. Named for St Brigit of Kildare, it was traditionally a weaving, potato-growing and sheep-farming town.
