It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Internacional de Bogotá, Fortaleza, Tigres F.C., and Bogotá F.C. The stadium holds 10,000 people. Estadio Metropolitano de Techo is situated 3½ km northeast of Villa del Río Agrupación 1.

The mall has 248,000 m2 of built area, being the biggest mall in Colombia and the second one in Latin America, behind the Centro Comercial Aricanduva, in São Paulo, Brazil.
