Ceallasaigh Beag lies to the south and these two islets are connected by a narrow strip of sand at low tide. Ceallasaigh Mòr is situated 1½ miles south of Loch a‘ Vearal.

Dun an Sticir is an Iron Age broch situated approximately 9.5 kilometers north of Lochmaddy in a loch on North Uist in the Scottish Outer Hebrides. A building was erected on the site in the late medieval period. Dun an Sticir is situated 2 miles northwest of Loch a‘ Vearal.
