The station opened on 26 May 1974 on the Antwerp–Lage Zwaluwe railway, known in Belgium as Line 12 and also Line 27A, a freight line to the port of Antwerp. Antwerpen-Noorderdokken railway station is situated 1½ km southwest of Ter Delft.

Ekeren is a railway station in the town of Ekeren, Antwerp, Belgium. The station opened on 3 July 1854 on the Antwerp–Lage Zwaluwe railway, known in Belgium as Line 12. Ekeren railway station is situated 1½ km northwest of Ter Delft.
