Caoyang Road

Caoyang Road is an interchange station between lines 3, 4, 11 and 14 of the Shanghai Metro, and is located in Putuo District. The station opened on 26 December 2000 as part of the initial section of Line 3 from Shanghai South Railway Station to Jiangwan Town, and Line 4 service began here on the final day of 2005. Caoyang Road is situated 1 km northeast of Global Harbor.

Zhongshan Park, formerly called Jessfield Park and Zhaofeng Park, is a park in Changning District, Shanghai, China. The park has a large collection of trees and flowers. People fly kites and play sport games on the large meadow areas. Zhongshan Park is situated 1½ km southeast of Global Harbor.

Changfeng Park is a landscaped park in the west of Shanghai, China. The size of the park is 364,000 square meters. It features an artificial lake, Yinchu Lake, and an artificial hill, Tiebi Hill. Changfeng Park is situated 1½ km southwest of Global Harbor.

The subdistrict was formed on 23 October 1991 from the merger of Jiaozhou Road Subdistrict and Putuo Road Subdistrict and was expanded in April 2004 when parts of Baiyu Subdistrict, Shiquan Subdistrict and Dongxin Subdistrict during an area adjustment of Putuo District.
