West Sandwick is a settlement on the island of Yell, Shetland Islands, Scotland. It is one of the few settlements in the west of the island. West Sandwick contains one of the major recreational beaches in Yell. West Sandwick is situated 2 miles north of Gossa Water.

Otterswick is a hamlet on the island of Yell in the Shetland Islands, on the inlet of Otters Wick. It is on the east side of the island. There is also an "Otterswick" on Sanday in the Orkney Islands. Otterswick is situated 3½ miles east of Gossa Water.
