Orchardton Tower is a ruined tower house in Kirkcudbrightshire, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. It is located four miles south of Dalbeattie, and one mile south of Palnackie, in Buittle parish. Orchardton Tower is situated 500 feet southeast of Old Orchardton.

Orchardton Castle overlooks the Solway Coast. Built in the 1880s, this is a Grade B listed property formerly known as Orchardton House. Built around a Scottish Baronial-style mansion located in Auchencairn in the historical county of Kirkcudbrightshire in Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland. Orchardton Castle is situated 1¼ miles south of Old Orchardton.
Mote of Mark

The Mote of Mark is a granite hill rising some 45 metres above the Rough Firth near the outlet of the Urr Water, near the village of Rockcliffe. It was the site of a vitrified fort during the Early Middle Ages, with about one third of an acre of the summit enclosed by a rampart of timber and stone. Mote of Mark is situated 2 miles east of Old Orchardton.
