The Salzburger Kopf, at a height of 654.2 m above sea level, is the third highest summit of the Westerwald after the Fuchskaute and the Stegskopf. The north side of the mountain ridge is almost treeless; in the south strips of woodland alternate with open areas.

Siegerland Airport or Siegerlandflughafen in German is a small regional airport in Burbach in the Siegerland region near Siegen, Germany. It was formerly served by the Scheuerfeld–Emmerzhausen railway and is presently used as the maintenance base for Avanti Air. Siegerland Airport is situated 4 km northeast of Friedhof Stein-Neukirch.

The Fuchskaute is an extinct volcano and, at 657.3 m above sea level, the highest mountain of the Westerwald and the county of Westerwaldkreis in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The name Fuchskaute refers to a place where the fox had its den. Fuchskaute is situated 3½ km southeast of Friedhof Stein-Neukirch.
