Odesa National Scientific Library

The Odesa National Scientific Library is a public library established in 1829 in Odesa, Ukraine. The library moved to its current location in 1907, into a new building designed by architect Fyodor Nesturkh in neo-Greek style.

The Odesa National Fine Arts Museum or Odesa National Art Museum is one of the principal art galleries of the city of Odesa in Ukraine. Founded in 1899, it occupies the Potocki Palace, itself a monument of early 19th century architecture. Odesa Fine Arts Museum is situated 300 metres northeast of Odesa National Scientific Library.

Monument to the founders of Odesa, also known as the monument to Empress Catherine II of Russia and her companions, was a monument located in Odesa, Ukraine, on then Katerynska Square. Monument to the founders of Odesa (dismantled) is situated 290 metres northeast of Odesa National Scientific Library.

The Potemkin Stairs, Potemkin Steps, or officially, the Prymorski Stairs, are a giant stairway in Odesa, Ukraine. They are considered a formal entrance into the city from the direction of the sea and are the best known symbol of Odesa. Potemkin Stairs is situated 1¼ km east of Odesa National Scientific Library.

Moldavanka is a historical part of Odesa in the Odesa Oblast of southern Ukraine, located jointly in Khadzhybeiskyi and Prymorskyi urban districts. Before 1820 it was a settlement just outside Odesa, which later engulfed it.
