St Asaph railway station served the city of St Asaph in Denbighshire, Wales. It was opened by the Vale of Clwyd Railway on 5 October 1858 and closed on 19 September 1955. Waen is a sparsely populated community in the Vale of Clwyd, in the Welsh county of Denbighshire. It includes the hamlet of Waen Goleugoed. The former civil parish was created in 1896 from the Flintshire portion of St Asaph, and lies on the eastern bank of the River Clwyd, 2.7 miles east of St Asaph, 15.4 miles north west of Mold, 5.1 miles north of Denbigh and 11.9 miles north of Ruthin. Waen is situated 1½ miles southeast of Richmond Hall.
