Raffles Hotel is a historic luxury hotel at 1 Beach Road, in Singapore. It was established by Armenian hoteliers, the Sarkies Brothers, in 1887. The hotel was named after British colonial official Stamford Raffles, the founder of modern Singapore. Raffles Hotel is situated 170 metres northeast of Raffles City Shopping Centre.

Swissôtel The Stamford, formerly known as The Westin Stamford, is a hotel in Singapore managed by Accor. Designed by architect I.M. Pei, at a height of 226 metres it was the tallest hotel in the world when opened in 1986 and remains one of Southeast Asia's tallest hotels.
