The Hôtel de Hanau, also known as the Hôtel de ville and as the Hanauer Hof, is a historic building located on the Place Broglie on the Grande Île in the city center of Strasbourg, in the French department of the Bas-Rhin. Hôtel de Hanau is situated 160 metres northwest of Hôtel de Dartein.

The Grande Île is an island that lies at the historic centre of Strasbourg, France. Its name derives from the fact that it is surrounded on one side by the main channel of the Ill river and on the other side by the Canal du Faux-Rempart, a canalised arm of that river. Grande Île is situated 380 metres west of Hôtel de Dartein.
