The Crossness Sewage Treatment Works is a sewage treatment plant located at Crossness in the London Borough of Bexley. It was opened in 1865 and is Europe's second largest sewage treatment works, after its counterpart Beckton Sewage Treatment Works located north of the river. Crossness Sewage Treatment Works is situated 1,700 feet southeast of Crossness Pumping Station.

Dagenham Dock is a National Rail station in the Dagenham Dock neighbourhood of Dagenham in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, east London. The station is on the Tilbury loop of the London, Tilbury and Southend line, located 10 miles 45 chains down the line from London Fenchurch Street between Barking to the west and Rainham to the east. Dagenham Dock railway station is situated 1¼ miles north of Crossness Pumping Station.
