The Threlkeld Quarry and Mining Museum is a museum located in Threlkeld three miles east of Keswick, in the Lake District in Cumbria. It includes a quarry with a collection of antique machinery, such as locomotives and cranes, an underground tour of a simulated mine, a geological and mining museum, and mineral panning. Threlkeld Quarry and Mining Museum is situated 1,500 feet north of Hut Circle.

Castlerigg Stone Circle is situated on a prominent hill to the east of Keswick, in the Lake District National Park, North West England. It is one of around 1,300 stone circles in the British Isles and Brittany, constructed as a part of a megalithic tradition that lasted from approximately 3200 BC to 2500 BC, during the Late Neolithic and Early Bronze Ages. Castlerigg stone circle is situated 2 miles west of Hut Circle.
