Östersund Central Station or Östersund C is the main railway station serving Östersund, Sweden. It is located on the Middle Line and the Inland Line and is served by SJ, Norrtåg, Snälltåget and Inlandsbanan- Trains leave for Stockholm a couple of times per day and once a day by Inlandsbanan to Gällivare or to Mora. Östersund Central Station is situated 3 km west of Lillänge.

Torvalla is a city district in southern Östersund, about six kilometres from the city core. The district has a population of around 8000. Torvalla is divided into 3 smaller areas: Fjällmon or Nedre Torvalla, Skogsmon or Övre Torvalla and Ängsmon or Bortre Torvalla. Torvalla is situated 3½ km southeast of Lillänge.
