Akrotiri is a town on the southwestern end of Thira, the largest island of the Santorini archipelago. Though it offers great view of the caldera and volcano, it is not as overrun by tourists like Fira and Oia.

Red Beach is a volcanic sand beach on the Aegean island of Santorini. The beach is famed for its titular red-hued sand, and is a noted for being a popular tourist attraction. Red Beach is situated 2½ km southeast of Kerkezu Beach.

Akrotiri

Akrotiri is a Cycladic Bronze Age settlement site on the volcanic Greek island of Santorini. The name comes from the nearby village of Akrotiri. The settlement was destroyed during the Theran eruption sometime in the 16th century BC, and was buried in volcanic ash, which helped preserve its fine frescoes.

Megalochori

Megalochori is a quiet traditional village in the heart of Santorini, sitting on a hill facing east. The roads narrow as you get closer to the village, a mixture of cream and white Cycladic houses with contrasting colourful wooden doors.

Emporeio, also known as Nimborios, is a village on the island of Santorini, Greece. It is located 12 km from Fira, near the Profitis Ilias Mountains. According to the 2021 census, the community of Emporio has 3,704 permanent inhabitants. Emporeio is situated 7 km east of Kerkezu Beach.
