Arenig Fach

Arenig Fach is a mountain in southern Snowdonia, north Wales. It is a peak in the Arenig range and lies to the north of its parent peak Arenig Fawr. It lies close to Llyn Celyn alongside the A4212 between Trawsfynydd and Bala. Carnedd y Filiast and Foel Goch is to the east, while Moel Llyfnant, Gallt y Daren and Arenig Fawr are to the south.

Arenig Fawr is a mountain in Snowdonia, North Wales, close to Llyn Celyn reservoir, alongside the A4212 between Trawsfynydd and Bala. Arenig Fawr is situated 2 miles south of Rhyd-y-fen.

Llyn Celyn is a reservoir constructed between 1960 and 1965 including the highly controversial Tryweryn flooding in the valley of the River Tryweryn in Gwynedd, Wales. Llyn Celyn is situated 2½ miles east of Rhyd-y-fen.

Capel Celyn

Capel Celyn was a rural community to the northwest of Bala in Merionethshire, Wales, in the Tryweryn valley. The village and other parts of the valley were flooded in the Tryweryn flooding of 1965 to create a reservoir, Llyn Celyn, in order to supply Liverpool and Wirral with water for industry. Capel Celyn is situated 1½ miles northeast of Rhyd-y-fen.

Llidiardau is a small hamlet in Gwynedd, North Wales, approximately 4 miles northwest of Bala, on an unnamed road, 2.3 miles from Arenig Fawr and in the shadow of Mynydd Nodol. The community population taken at the 2011 census was 20. Llidiardau is situated 3½ miles east of Rhyd-y-fen.

Rhyd-uchaf is a hamlet in Gwynedd, Wales, approximately 2.4 miles northwest of Bala and 1.4 miles south of Frongoch, on an unnamed road which provides access to Arenig Fawr. The community population taken at the 2011 census was 78. Rhyd-uchaf is situated 5 miles east of Rhyd-y-fen.
