Greenside Mine was a successful lead mine in the Lake District of England. Between 1825 and 1961 the mine produced 156,000 long tons of lead and 1,600,000 ounces of silver, from around 2 million tons of ore. Greenside Mine is situated 1,900 feet west of Glenridding Screes.

Sheffield Pike is a fell in the English Lake District, a prominent intermediate top on one of the eastern ridges of Stybarrow Dodd. It separates and stands high above the Glencoyne and Glenridding valleys, on the eastern side of the Helvellyn range in the Eastern Fells and it looks down onto Ullswater.

It is in the eastern part of the Lake District, and the name is also used for the long valley in which the village sits, also called the Ullswater Valley.
