Broome Regional Prison

Broome Regional Prison is an Australian prison in Broome, Western Australia. It is one of two prisons in Western Australia's Kimberley region. In 2012 it was announced that the prison would be closed in 2015 following the opening of the West Kimberley Regional Prison in Derby, but this plan was shelved in 2015. Broome Regional Prison is situated 240 metres north of Anglican Church of the Annunciation.

The Broome Cable House opened on 9 April 1889 and is now known as the Broome Court House. Constructed in 1879, the facility was used as a cable station until March 1914. Broome Cable House is situated 390 metres north of Anglican Church of the Annunciation.
