Chiang Mai Zoo and Aquarium is a 200-acre zoo on Huay Kaew Road in Chiang Mai Province, Thailand, just west of Chiang Mai University. It is the first commercial zoo in northern Thailand, established on 16 June 1977. Chiang Mai Zoo is situated 1¼ km west of CMU Palm Park.

Wat Suan Dok, also known as Wat Buppharam is a Buddhist temple in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand. It is a Royal Temple of the Third Class. The temple is on Suthep Road, approximately one kilometre west of Suan Dok gate at the west side of the moat. Wat Suan Dok is situated 2 km southeast of CMU Palm Park.

Wat Pa Daeng is a Buddhist temple located in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Wat Pa Daeng historically served as the center for the Araññavasi forest-dwelling monks, who established a new sect at this monastery. Wat Padaeng is situated 1½ km south of CMU Palm Park.
