The Glass House Mountains are a popular tourist site in the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. The mountains were named by Captain Cook, who in 1770 thought they looked like glass houses as he sailed along the eastern coast of Australia.

Glasshouse Mountains is a railway station operated by Queensland Rail on the Nambour/Gympie North line. It opened in 1890 and serves the Sunshine Coast town of Glass House Mountains. It is a ground level station, featuring two side platforms. Glasshouse Mountains railway station is situated 550 metres northwest of Glass House Mountains Sports Club.

Mount Tibrogargan is a small mountain in the Glass House Mountains National Park, north-northwest of Brisbane, Australia. It is a magma intrusion of hard alkali rhyolite that squeezed up into the vents of an ancient volcano 27 million years ago. Tibrogargan is situated 3 km southwest of Glass House Mountains Sports Club.
