Te’omim Cave

The Te'omim Cave, or the Twins Cave, Arabic name Mughâret Umm et-Tûeimîn, is a karstic cave within a nature reserve in Israel located on the western edges of the Jerusalem Mountains, in the vicinity of Beit Shemesh. Te’omim Cave is situated 2 km northeast of Khirbet Zanoah.

Beit Jimal or Beit Jamal is a Catholic monastery run by Salesian priests and brothers near Beit Shemesh, Israel. The Christian tradition identifies the site with the Roman- and Byzantine-era Jewish village of Caphargamala, and believe that inside a cave in the area, there is the tomb of Saint Stephen or to have conserved his relics. Beit Jimal is situated 2½ km west of Khirbet Zanoah.
