The Museum of Philistine Culture is an archaeological museum in Ashdod. The museum is dedicated to the culture of the Philistines, the ancient people who inhabited the maritime part of Israel from the XII century BC. Ashdod’s museam Korin Maman is situated 1½ km south of Spat Ashdod.

Ashdod Naval Base, also known as Southern Arena by the Israeli Navy, is a naval base located in the port city of Ashdod near the Port of Ashdod. It plays an important role in the surveillance and blockade of the Gaza Strip, as well as in protecting the Port of Ashdod. Naval Base Ashdod is situated 640 metres northwest of Spat Ashdod.
