Tahrir Square

Tahrir Square, also known as Martyr Square, is a public town square in downtown Cairo, Egypt. It was established in 1867. The square has been the location and focus for political demonstrations. Tahrir Square is situated 1½ km northeast of Outpatient Clinics.
