Cromwell Point Lighthouse, also known as Valentia Lighthouse, is an active 19th century lighthouse located on Valentia Island's Cromwell Point in County Kerry, Ireland. It provides guidance for vessels entering Valentia Harbour from the north. Cromwell Point Lighthouse is situated 3½ km northeast of Lackanchurrig Rock.

Illaunloughan is a medieval Christian monastery and National Monument located in County Kerry, Ireland. The site is located on a tiny island of 0.3 acres in Portmagee Channel, a channel separating Valentia Island from the Iveragh Peninsula. Illaunloughan is situated 3½ km south of Lackanchurrig Rock.

Portmagee is a fishing village on the Iveragh Peninsula of County Kerry, with a population in 2016 of 123. In Irish it's An Caladh, "the ferry", because it was the port for Valentia Island, but a bridge now spans the channel.
