It is situated at the eastern end of the glen, 5 km north-west of the village of Struy, and 16 km west of Beauly. Beinn a’ Bhathaich Àrd is situated 2 miles northwest of Culligran Power Station.

Erchless Castle is an L-plan castle in northern Scotland, near Struy, Highland. The current building was built in about 1600. The castle is located at the northeast end of Strathglass at the point where the Erchless Burn enters the River Beauly, itself newly formed from the confluence of the rivers Glass and Farrar immediately to the south of the castle. Erchless Castle is situated 2 miles east of Culligran Power Station.
