An Sgùrr, also known as The Sgùrr of Eigg, is the highest point on the island of Eigg in Scotland's Small Isles. It was formed 59 million years ago; the result of one of the last eruptions of a volcano, the core of which now forms the Isle of Rùm. An Sgùrr is situated 2½ miles south of Laig Beach.

Cleadale is a settlement on the north west side of the island of Eigg, in the Small Isles of Scotland and is in the council area of Highland. The setting is visually dramatic.

Eigg is one of the Small Isles, lying 10 miles off the west coast of Scotland, and with a population of just under 100. The name means "notched" and it's a moorland plateau cleaved by a valley, with the dramatic scarp of An Sgurr looming over it.
