Later, until 1998, it was known as Haags Gemeentemuseum, and until the end of September 2019 as Gemeentemuseum Den Haag. Kunstmuseum Den Haag is situated 270 metres south of Toren van Oud.

The Catshuis, initially known as Huis Sorgvliet, is the official residence of the Prime Minister of the Netherlands. Built between 1651 and 1652 for Jacob Cats as private villa, it was renamed after him after his death. Catshuis is situated 280 metres southeast of Toren van Oud.
