Kingsknowe railway station is a railway station serving Kingsknowe in the Scottish city of Edinburgh. It is located on the Shotts Line from Glasgow Central to Edinburgh Waverley via Shotts. Kingsknowe railway station is situated 340 feet south of Kingsknowe Place.

HMP Edinburgh is a prison in Scotland. It is located in the west of Edinburgh on the main A71, in an area now known as Stenhouse, and, although never named as such, has commonly been known as Saughton Prison from the old name for the general area. HM Prison Edinburgh is situated 3,000 feet north of Kingsknowe Place.
