Jisr el-Majami or Jisr al-Mujamieh is an ancient stone bridge, possibly of Roman origin, over the Jordan River on the border between Israel and Jordan.

Naharayim, historically the Jisr Majami area, is the area where the Yarmouk River flows into the Jordan River. It was the site of the "First Jordan Hydro-Electric Power House", constructed between 1927–33, and located near an ancient Roman bridge known as Jisr Majami. Al Baqoura is situated 2½ km northeast of Gesher.

Neve Ur is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located in the Beit She'an Valley on the Jordan River and to the south of the Sea of Galilee, it falls under the jurisdiction of Valley of Springs Regional Council. In 2024 it had a population of 451. Neve Ur is situated 3½ km south of Gesher.

Located to the south of the Sea of Galilee near the Jordanian border and covering 4,200 dunams, it falls under the jurisdiction of Emek HaYarden Regional Council. In 2024 it had a population of 960. Ashdot Ya’akov Ihud is situated 5 km northeast of Gesher.
