Fort Knox, now Fort Knox State Park or Fort Knox State Historic Site, is located on the western bank of the Penobscot River in the town of Prospect, Maine, about 5 miles from the mouth of the river. Fort Knox is situated 1½ miles northwest of Porcupine Island.

The Bucksport Railroad Station is a historic railroad station on Main Street in Bucksport, Maine. The station was built in 1874 by the European and North American Railway, and is one of a small number of surviving rural railroad stations in Maine.
