St. Quentin's Cathedral, also called Hasselt Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Hasselt Belgium. Its construction began in the 11th century, and continued for two centuries. Saint Quentin Cathedral is situated 250 metres north of Limburgplein.

The Virga Jesse Basilica is a basilica located on Kapelstraat in Hasselt, Belgium. The church is best known for housing the 14th-century statue of the Virga Jesse, which is paraded through the streets of Hasselt every seven years during the Seven-Yearly Festivities. Virga Jesse Basilica is situated 270 metres northwest of Limburgplein.

Godsheide is a village and Catholic parish within the north-eastern corner of the Belgian city of Hasselt, in the province of Limburg. Between the village and the main town of Hasselt there are several large modern developments - the Hasselt golf club, the Grenslandhallen entertainment centre, the Limburg provincial government buildings, and the Kinepolis cinema complex. Godsheide is situated 3½ km east of Limburgplein.

Sint-Lambrechts-Herk is a sub-municipality of the city of Hasselt located in the province of Limburg, Flemish Region, Belgium. It was a separate municipality until 1977. On 1 January 1977, it was merged into Hasselt. Sint-Lambrechts-Herk is situated 3½ km southwest of Limburgplein.
