Glencoe is a hauntingly scenic valley in the western Scottish Highlands, a branch of The Great Glen which carves coast to coast. It's also the name of the village at its foot, where the glen meets the sea at Loch Leven.

The Massacre of Glencoe Monument is a memorial to the Massacre of Glencoe, which took place in Glen Coe in the Highlands of Scotland on 13 February 1692, following the Jacobite uprising of 1689–92. Massacre of Glencoe Monument is situated 2,500 feet northwest of Tigh a Voulin.

Glencoe or Glencoe Village is the main settlement in Glen Coe in the Lochaber area of the Scottish Highlands. It lies at the north-west end of the glen, on the southern bank of the River Coe where it enters Loch Leven.

The Aonach Eagach is a large mountain ridge in the Scottish Highlands, marking the northern edge of Glen Coe. It stretches east–west for several miles and includes two Munro summits: Sgùrr nam Fiannaidh at 967 m high, and Meall Dearg at 952 m high. Aonach Eagach is situated 2½ miles east of Tigh a Voulin.
