The Carlton Centre is a 50-storey skyscraper and shopping centre located on Commissioner Street in central Johannesburg, South Africa. At 223 metres, it was the tallest building in Africa for 46 years from its completion in 1973 until 2019. Carlton Centre is situated 190 metres south of Elephan House.

Ellis Park Stadium is a rugby union and association football stadium in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. It hosted the final of the 1995 Rugby World Cup, which was won by the country's national team, the Springboks. Ellis Park Stadium is situated 1½ km northeast of Elephan House.
