Tomatin is a small village on the River Findhorn in Strathdearn in the Scottish Highlands, about 16 miles southeast of the city of Inverness. The name derives from the Scottish Gaelic name Tom Aitinn. Tomatin is situated 3½ miles northeast of Tomatin Substation.
