Beit Beirut is a museum and urban cultural center dedicated to portraying the history of Beirut, with a particular focus on the Lebanese Civil War. Housed in the restored Barakat building, also known as the "Yellow House," this historic landmark was designed by Youssef Aftimus. Beit Beirut is situated 480 metres east of baydoun.

The Mohammad Al-Amin Mosque, also referred to as the Blue Mosque, is a Sunni mosque, 72 m high, minarets´ roof of 65 m high and main dome spire of 48 m high and its roof 42 m, is located in downtown Beirut, Lebanon. Muhammad al-Amin Mosque is situated 1 km north of baydoun.
