The Monastery of Saint Nicholas Anapausas is a former Greek Orthodox monastery near the town of Kalambaka, in the Thessaly region of central Greece. It is located at the top of a rocky precipice over 415 metres above the Pineios valley floor. Holy Monastery of St. Nikolaos of Anapafsas is situated 1¼ km northeast of Dragases.

Ambaria is a rock in the Meteora rock formation complex of Thessaly, Greece. Ambaria has cave hermitages formerly inhabited by Orthodox Christian ascetics. The Panagia Monastery was likely located at Ambaria.

Kastraki is a village in Kalabaka municipal unit, Trikala, Thessaly, Greece. It is located on the northwest of the main municipal unit of Kalabaka. Kastraki takes advantage of a small valley opening into the southwest side of the Meteora massif.

The monastery-crowned pillars of Meteora are among the most striking geological and cultural gems of Greece. The formation consists of a number of steep and narrow rock pinnacles near the town of Kalambaka in northwestern Thessaly, topped with a total of 24 monasteries, 6 of which are still in use and open to visitors.
