Beirut Naval Base

Beirut Naval Base is the first naval base and the headquarters of the Lebanese Navy, established in 1950. The base comprises a part of Port of Beirut, and was affected by the massive ammonium nitrate explosion on 4 August 2020.

Ancient Tell: Beirut Castle

Beirut Castle was a major Crusader castle located in downtown Beirut, Lebanon. It was mostly built during the Crusades and demolished during works of extension of the Port of Beirut in the late 19th century. Ancient Tell: Beirut Castle is situated 210 metres southwest of Beirut Naval Base.

Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral is the seat of the Greek Orthodox Metropolitan bishop of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Beirut and its dependencies. Saint George Orthodox Cathedral is situated 600 metres southwest of Beirut Naval Base.

Beirut Souks is a commercial district located in the Beirut Central District. It comprises more than 200 retail outlets, approximately 25 restaurants and cafés, an entertainment center, a 14-screen cinema complex, periodic street markets, and a planned department store. Beirut Souks is situated 450 metres southwest of Beirut Naval Base.
