Tomintoul distillery is a distillery in Kirkmichael, between Ballindalloch and Tomintoul in the Speyside region of Scotland, producing malt whisky for blends and bottled as single malts. Tomintoul distillery is situated 2,400 feet southwest of Orchid Triangle.

Glenlivet is a glen in the Highlands of Scotland through which the River Livet flows. The river rises high in the Ladder Hills and flows past several distileries and hamlets and then onto the Bridgend before joining the River Avon, one of the main tributaries of the River Spey. Glenlivet is situated 3½ miles northeast of Orchid Triangle.

Tomintoul

Tomintoul is a village in the Moray council area of Scotland in the historic county of Banffshire. Within Cairngorms National Park, the village lies close to the banks of the River Avon and is said by some to be the highest village in the Scottish Highlands, although at 345 m it is still much lower than the highest village in Scotland. Tomintoul is situated 4½ miles south of Orchid Triangle.

Cromdale is a village in Strathspey, in the Highland council area of Scotland, and one of the ancient parishes which formed the combined ecclesiastical parish of Cromdale, Inverallan and Advie in Morayshire. Cromdale is situated 5 miles west of Orchid Triangle.
