Oud Poelgeest is a castle in Oegstgeest, north of Leiden, that was the former home of the Dutch scientist Herman Boerhaave. He was a Dutch humanist and physician of European fame. Oud Poelgeest is situated 770 metres southwest of Jachthaven Zwanengat.
