Auldearn is a village situated east of the River Nairn, just outside Nairn in the Highland council area of Scotland. It takes its name from William the Lion's castle of Eren, built there in the 12th century. Auldearn is situated 2 miles west of Blackhills.

Dyke is a small village situated in the north of Scotland on the Moray coast, approximately 4 miles west of Forres. The origin of the name of the parish of Dyke is supposed to be the Gaelic word dìg, signifying a water drain or ditch. Dyke is situated 3½ miles northeast of Blackhills.
