Loudoun Castle

Loudoun Castle is a ruined country house nicknamed the "Windsor of Scotland" located near Galston, in the Loudoun area of Ayrshire, Scotland. The majority of the building was constructed from 1804 to 1811 around existing structures dating to the 15th and 17th centuries. Loudoun Castle is situated 1,900 feet northeast of Loudoun Academy.

Loudoun Castle was a theme park set around the ruins of the 19th century Loudoun Castle near Galston, in the Loudoun area of Ayrshire, Scotland. The park opened in 1995, and closed at the end of the 2010 season. The park's mascot was Rory the Lion. Loudoun Castle is situated 2,800 feet northeast of Loudoun Academy.

Galston is a town in East Ayrshire, Scotland, which has a population of 4,710 and is at the heart of the civil parish of the same name. It is situated in wooded countryside four miles upriver from Kilmarnock and is one a group of the small towns located in the Irvine Valley between the towns of Hurlford and Newmilns.
