The Church of St Mary stands in the centre of the village of Magor, Monmouthshire, Wales. It was designated a Grade I listed building in 1963. The church is the lead church of the Netherwent Ministry Area, led by Rev Daniel Frett, which administers to a population of around 32,000. St Mary’s Church is situated 3,300 feet east of Magor Primary Substation.

Magor Marsh is a 36-hectare wetland reserve, located on the Welsh side of the Severn Estuary. It is managed by the Gwent Wildlife Trust. It has a great variety of habitats, including damp hay meadows, sedge fen, reed bed, scrub and wet woodland.
